"Settle Down": No Doubt released the first song in nine years
Today is a day of many releases in the music world, after Madonna and Jack White released new clips, Green Day have disclosed his new single, it was the turn of the band No Doubt promote the single which marks his return.
The band released the morning of Monday (16) the track "Settle Down". The song will be on the new album, "Push and Shove," which is scheduled for release on September 25.
"Settle Down" is the first release of the band unprecedented since 2001 when they released "Rock Steady", the fifth and final studio album from No Doubt to date.
In 2009, the quartet released in isolation the single "Stand And Deliver", a version of the band Adam and The Ants which was interpreted by the group in its appearance in the series "Gossip Girl".
In 2003, the group presented another version, "It 's My Life" Talk Talk of the British, who served as temporary anticipation of his departure, marked by the release of the compilation "The Singles: 1992-2003".
The band started working on the album "Push and Shove" in 2008 when lead singer Gwen Stefani was still promoting his second solo effort. The initial idea was to release the album in 2010.
"Everything is very real now. Deciding the title of the album and film the clip of the single moments were very important to us. We are willing to share these songs with everyone," says the quartet led by singer Gwen Stefani in a statement released by Universal Music.
After several delays, the release date was scheduled for September 2012. It will be the sixth album, which was formed in 1986.
